Noise levels from the bar area can be quite intrusive!!! Parking arrangements could use a rethink during busier periods!!! Limited access to certain facilities can be frustrating with mobility issues!!!

My partner and I had an amazing weekend getaway where we enjoyed lovely walks in Combe Sydenham Country Park, just less than a kilometer away, and delighted in delicious meals featuring local ingredients, especially at the pub which served fabulous food with great beer options. the attention to all the details was just perfect, making our time there unforgettable.

We had a grand time with super friendly staff who made us feel right at home! The food was mighty delicious, especially the duck fat chips! Though we found the noise from other rooms a bit much at night, it didn't spoil our stay.

The stay at Notley Arms Inn was delightful. The atmosphere captured charm beautifully. My room, the One-Bedroom Suite, featured a cozy and stylish decor, creating a perfect hideaway. It was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower, which I appreciated after long walks. Fresh milk and excellent coffee in the room were nice touches that made mornings much better. The meals were truly a highlight—hearty and well-prepared, especially the evening specials. Simon and Caroline were wonderful hosts, always available for recommendations about local walks and attractions. dining felt a bit chilly after 9:30 PM, which detracted from the experience. While delicious, the breakfast could use larger portions for a more satisfying start to the day.

I stayed at the Notley Arms for two nights and found it to be a charming and comfortable place. The owners, Simon and Caroline, were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making the entire experience enjoyable. The room I had was spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring a modern bathroom that was spotlessly clean. The bar provided a great atmosphere to unwind, and the dinner and breakfast offerings were plentiful, showcasing local produce beautifully.
The shower door was tricky to use.
